Meaning of the Piece
The shooting star moves gently above the mountains and pine trees, symbolizing fleeting moments that somehow stay with us forever — the unexpected spark of inspiration, healing, peace, or possibility that appears when life becomes quiet enough to notice it.
“Wish Upon the Quiet” was created to capture the feeling of stillness, wonder, and quiet hope that often arrives beneath the night sky.
The flowing river beneath the mountains represents movement through life itself — always continuing forward, even during seasons of reflection and uncertainty. Together, the scene was designed to feel peaceful, grounding, and quietly hopeful rather than dramatic or overwhelming.
Whether displayed in a bedroom, reading space, cozy retreat, or peaceful corner of home, this piece was created to bring warmth, calm, and a sense of wonder into the atmosphere around it.
Message from the Artist
The kind of night where you look out the window, see the stars above the mountains, and for a brief moment, everything feels softer somehow.
As I worked on this design, I kept imagining one of those quiet nights where the world finally slows down enough for you to breathe again.
I didn’t want this piece to feel loud or overly mystical.
I wanted it to feel peaceful.
To me, the shooting star represents those brief moments of hope, clarity, or comfort that appear unexpectedly during difficult seasons of life — small moments that may pass quickly, but still leave something meaningful behind.
This design became less about “making a wish” and more about remembering that wonder still exists, even during quieter chapters of life.
